Peter Obi Supporters Cut Across All Regions And Groups In Nigeria

PEGASUS LEGAL

Nobody would have believed that Peter Obi could have any impact on the 2023 election when he was frustrated out of the Peoples Democratic Party by Dollarised men who bought the delegates with their wall chest. All the efforts of #TakebackNaija# movement on reasons why PDP should give her Presidential ticket to Peter Obi as the most widely acceptable candidate fell on deaf ears.

The youth staged One Million Man Match Nationwide to press home their demand through Peter Obi presidency. But the PDP cabals who felt that Obi is only good for the second fiddle refused all the entreaties of the youths to have Peter Obi on the PDP presidential ticket.

As always obi being the man of the moment against all odds resigned his membership of the People’s Democratic Party and joined the Labour Party on the 27th of May, 2022. Most people were of the view that Obi would have remained with the PDP rather than Join a party without structure.

Some said he will not get up to 50,000 votes, that his supporters are only on Twitter and most of the supporters don’t even have PVC nor would they come out to vote on the election day.

But as it stands now Obi is the most popular presidential aspirant among the three top contenders, having enjoyed the most organic support any presidential aspirant might have had in this country majority of his supporters are using their own resources to support Peter Obi Presidential ambition.

They coined the phrase ” We No Dey Give ShiShi”

The above was what compelled Waju Akin-Emmanuels at his Twitter handle @meetthedynamo took to his Twitter handle and tweeted thus;

“One of the most disingenuous things anyone could say is that Obi supporters are merely Igbos and are pushing for his presidency because of their regional agenda. If you ever said/say that, I’m sorry to burst your bubble… I’m a Yoruba boy and am proudly Obidient!”
