Ezeife Calls On Governor Umahi To Withdraw His Unfortunate Advice Against Peter Obi

Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife while responding to questions on Arise Tv morning show today, said that the advice of Governor Umahi that Ebonyi people will not vote Peter Obi during the presidential election is the most unfortunate.

He promised that he will personally go to him to ask him to withdraw such statement, the earlier he withdraws it, the better for all of us Ezeife said.

While responding to question of whether he was disappointed that none of the frontline political parties gave their party’s ticket to the South-East Region as widely clamoured. He said that God’s hand is at work for the entire country as those who has held the country down is about giving way to the proactive leadership of Peter Obi that will give everyone a sense of belonging.

He said that the South-East Region does not need Vice president slot from the Peoples Democratic Party or any other Political party, as equity and fairness demand that it is the turn of the South-East Region to produce the Nigerian President. He blamed the development on the cassh and carry democracy that characterised the party primaries.

Again, he declared that the entire South-East Region is going to pray for 3 days on asking Divine intervention to the affairs of the country. The Elder stateman further solicit for an understanding between the Yorubas and Igbos.
