Emefiele Admits Obaseki’s Bombshell On Printing Money To Meet Up Allocation
Despite all the insinuations to the contrary by the Minister of Finance, in her feeble attempt to refute Governor Obaseki’s stand that #60B was printed to augment March, 2021 Federal Allocation, an assertion that the Governor stood his ground on.
The Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Godwin Emefiele, has confirmed Governor Obaseki’s earlier accusation on printing more money to meet up with expenses.
The concept of printing of money is about lending money and that is our job…It will be irresponsible for the CBN or any Central Bank or Fed to stand idle and refuse to support its government at a time like this. #Emefiele
