Outrages, Condemnations As 14 Babies Allegedly Died In University of Portharcourt Teaching Hospital
Fuel scarcity and the out of the reach price of Diesel in Market has continued to take it tolls on Nigerians lives and economy. It is no longer news that the price of Diesel hovers between #850 to #1000 ,if you are lucky to find it.
No reasonable man could ask of the negative implications of the hyper-inflation on the price of Diesel in an economy that is sustained on Generation set due to decades power outage issues until Buhari’s regime made National grid collapse a state policy having recorded 17 grid collapse since the regime.
One thing is obvious, Buhari’s regime has not added any iota of improvement on the power sector as it keep on going South every now and then. Nigerians have gotten used to paying for darkness in a clime that the politics of prepaid Metres is shrouded in secrecy .
But the woeful tale of dark ages as sustained by Buharinomics came home to roost yesterday as 14 babies allegedly gave up the ghost at the University of Portharcourt Teaching Hospital due to lack of Electricity and chronic shortage of Diesel due to the exorbitant price of the commodity in Buhari’s Nigeria. What more have we not seen of this regime gross ineptitude, looking at their campaign promises, ranging from fixing our moribund refineries to ensuring the welfare of citizens.
Many Nigerians have taken to their Twitter handles to lament their frustrations and hopelessness of the APC regime. Who would have known what 14 babies from various backgrounds would have added to humanity? Mwy God console the families that lost their child in an avoidable circumstances.
