Terrorism : Priest Laments Burying of 18 Parishioners in his Church Due to the Escalating Insecurity

Rev Fr. Syracius Kamai has lamented the worsening insecurity in the country, recounting how 18 Parishioners were killed and buried in his church in 2019, querying why people should stop the church from actively participating in politics.

He describes churches partiticipation in politics as fight for survival which no reasonable Christian will shy away from looking at the incessant killings that envelope the country.

As always, he lamented that the Kutep people of Taraba State are currently under attack now, while some people are busy blaming priest on why getting involved in politics.
