FCT Administration Bans the Sale of Alcohol in Parks And Gardens

News filtering in now has it that the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Mr, Bello Muhammed has through his SSA carried out his threat to ban the sale of alcohol in Parks and garden at the Federal Capital Territory.

This is coming in today as enforcersbof the ban were seen with their men knocking up some erring premises. This is coming in gross violation of the issue being subjudice since the Association members that would be affected by the ban have not only sent a petition to the Minister to rein in his SSA but has equally filed a lawsuit pending determination.

One thing is very certain, any policy of Government now aimed at compounding the economic woesbof Nigerians who are already groaning under heavy economic yoke might compound the economic crisis looming in the country. Such sale of alcohol in parks and gardens could be regulated but not banned.
